the hill that i will die on is that cas would have never said he loved dean if he had to deal with the consequences of it afterwards, meanwhile dean (who was SUPPOSED to tell cas he loved him in the original crypt scene script) would have eventually worked up to saying it without external pressure

i dont know if anyone from not here is awake but .... yesterday i had the idea to perhaps bind the champions 2.0 abilities to the inventory/weapons

(totk rewrite "botw2")

so, for example, yunobos would be tied to a permanent two handed weapon (his signature weapon for example) in your inventory that doesnt break and doesnt need repairing (considering my craft and repair system otherwise) but instead needs recharging to recast the ability somwhat like when the master sword looses its power, but instead it just deals the base or reduced weapons damage (perhaps using the ability function via the throwing mechanic, like the MS swordbeams? or a different way to control it when using that speciffic weapon)

teba/tulins would be either a magic bow or arrow that similarly doesnt break/run out (unsure whether arrow or bow is better)

sidons water shield + heal would be tied to a shield

rijus would be tied to the hookshot, when aiming it thered be a button prompt to switch to send the lightning instead, thought to tie it to this bc i wanted it to be aimable similar to the hookshot and combining them saves you from making yet another aiming system and menu

the idea was that i could also use the tie to a weapon as an explanation for how they give it to you without repeating botw but worse (since in botw they are ghosts of the dead and a spirit knowing how to give an abilitiy tied to their spirit to you is more sensical than your childhood friend that didnt even have an ability at all even after a hundred years time last game suddendly not only mastering one but also somehow knowing how to give it to you within .. 5?) the explanation being that the weapon has been charged with their magic over the course of using it for so long or doing so during the dungeon

(like in yunos case, he was the only one that actually had the ability in botw, he always used a .. stone breaker weapon thing, and he gifts it to you at the end; teba/tulin would discover charging their arrows with magic during it and give you the bow at the end (perhaps them having to pull on the same bow to shoot it during a miniboss fight in the dungeon makes it charged with it); sidon would use your shield to channel his magic in a way to make it useful for you and since hes still new to using it, perhaps he gives you the permanent one at the start of the dungeon bc its the one hes been practising it with and at the end gifts it to you since its charged with it (if you leave the dungeon before beating it hed want it back sicne .. its his practice tool); riju charges your shiekah arm with lighting, like overcharging a device just before it breaks, perhaps discovered accidentally during her dungeon ? so we have a variety and not all work the same ... and overcharging bricks your arm for a short time lol)

the possible downside of this is the menuing, but you dont really have to use all of them all the time (maybe longer cooldown but more powerful anyway just like in botw- also each permanent weapon would be the first in the row) and .. anythign is better than those god awful sage ghost controls of canon totk imo lol

other idea would be that its NOT tied to a specific weapon, but just to the category in general, so when you got a shield out you get an extra button prompt to activate sidons ability (very similar to botws system but giving you the control of activating it or not) BUT that has the issue of lacking the explanation on how they give it to you and the downside of not having anything permanent, and while i like my reworked weapon system, also givign players a permanent thing even if not very powerful sounds kinda right to mitigate those complaints without destroying the system outright

i can only give you a rough estimate honestly bc it is a known fact that I Do Not Control The Fic Length. it just happens. so uh- i'd say at the very least ten more chapters, probably more. most likely more. watch it be longer than cyanide. i don't know man (gn)

Eden shuffles a bit on the railing, thinking more about what Mosy had said. He could only ever dream of having the level of passion and optimism the fellow mew seemed to beam out. Did he have something that drives him? Yes... Most certainly. But is it enough? What if being driven out of fear or obligation good enough? Should he feel more passion outside of the dire circumstances he was facing? Eden slouches slightly, tail swaying back and forth in deep thought. His own anxieties clouding his mind, rattling back and forth as he attempted to understand deeper on what Mosy was saying. He glances back over at the shiny mew for a moment, before his eyes quickly darted back to the ground, almost out of shame. Eden:... I think... I understand what you are trying to say... I mean I GET what you are saying but also just.. I don't know. Trying to wrap my own head around it.. I guess.. Eden: You seem.. very confident in yourself.. I guess I... e-envy that a bit... Eden looks back up at the sky, his ears flicked back with a more serious, but soft, expression. Eden:.... But it does help to know that... There was another mew who was like me... who didn't start off with all the fancy powers... but managed to achieve it... Eden looks back at Mosy for a moment, then looking away to look down at his own paws Eden: and you even got a lovely family out of it all too... Huh... Eden: I don't know if I'll ever get THAT much outta everything but.. It is nice to know.. it can be possible.. Eden smiles a bit Eden: Thank you for your advice.. I uh.. R-really do appreciate it. I'll try to remember that as I go along.. Eden: Maybe one day I'll be able to float and do stuff like you too..

Not to keep beating dead horses like I so much love to do but I am still completely Flabbergasted and Astonished at how you (Merle Ambrose) could discover the most terrifying fact that a child that is essentially under your care has been indoctrinated into a cult (which, by the way, a process that has taken over the course of years) ((by an agent that has been stationed in a direct position to make it easier to access and manipulate children, that has easily escaped your notice for such a long time)) that worships a nihilistic entity whose ultimate goal is the absolute and total destruction of Everything and Everyone around you, and your one, single, simple-sentenced response to that is to say "Oh, that's a shame. He (Duncan) always was pretty terrible. Hope he gets better someday." And then to move on from those extremely worrying and dangerous bundle of issues permanently without taking any sort of action to protect the vulnerable and make sure nothing like this ever happens again

Note: I'm gonna talk Bridgerton season 3 "lead" so be mindful this is my opinion and you don't have to agree with anything I say<3

Listen I understand the whole argument about Colin wanting to be another person, who women swoon after. This desirable, hot, and rake person. No one is denying it, It was obvious he didn't get any good feedback when he was himself last season and whenever he tried to talk about his travels, his family and friends didn't take him seriously, so of course he's going to change his attitude and be a different person so they talk to him like a person and not this naive child. There's also a scene where his supposed friends are asking about his sex life and you can see he's not comfortable. He's struggling with this new personality he chose for himself but also he thinks the only way people will take him seriously is to act this way. The only time he's his true self is when he's with Penelope.

But why he's giving people "ick"!? Simple. Luke is not a good actor...

I'm so sorry if anyone is gonna be offended by this but it's okay to admit it lol. We've seen so many characters with these traits, wearing a mask in front of other people, this fuck boy persona so they can be more desirable because they think no one is gonna love their real them. This is a common scenario, I've seen it so many times.

So the writers and fans saying it is supposed to be this way, for Colin to give ick to the audience is absolutely bullshit. It's a way to save the situation because is getting out of hand. I'm pretty sure they didn't expect this many on social media saying how Colin gives them ick and he has no charisma. They're damage controlling lol

Apparently in the show the girls are supposed to be swooning after him and it is how it's shown. So we, as audiences are supposed to have the same reaction... we don't!!

Season 2 had the worst writing, like pitting the sisters and making that stupid love triangle (which it wasn't even a love triangle let's be honest, it was only there to make conflict) but still Kanthony is fans-favorite because the acting made it up for the bad writing. And that's exactly what happened to me and most of the others. We fell in love with Jonny's and Simone's acting and their characters, nothing more.

Season 3 has awful writing as well but on top of that, it also has bad acting that it doesn't make up for the plot.

The actor's choice for Colin's was absolutely wrong and they also ruined his character from the books. Like how on earth this is the same character I fell in love with? And I haven't even read his book! I fell in love with him just by reading others and he was just a side character...
